Descripción

Tal como la publicó Plata.

The Credit Risk team is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s credit risk management framework, ensuring effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of credit risk in alignment with the Colombian regulatory framework, financial sector best practices, and the company’s growth strategy.

Challenges that await you:

  • Monitor credit risk appetite by calculating and tracking key metrics such as NPL 30+/90+, cost of risk, coverage, credit-limit utilization, contingent exposure, concentration, and exceptions, escalating breaches and action plans when needed.
  • Own monthly provisioning processes, including the Consumer Reference Model, K factor, contingent-limit provisions, alignment, and suspension of accruals, while assessing the impact of segment changes.
  • Analyze credit performance and vintages by product and score band, monitoring delinquency, charge-offs, and observed vs. expected losses, and identifying the drivers behind material deterioration.
  • Monitor early-warning indicators and credit limits, supporting the semi-annual reassessment of revolving credit limits.
  • Support credit stress testing and capital adequacy analysis, connecting portfolio risk with the bank’s capital position.
  • Prepare risk reporting for senior management, Risk Committees, and the Board, ensuring data quality and consistency between SFC regulatory reporting and provisioning data.

What makes you a great fit:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial/Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • +5 years of proven experience in consumer credit risk within an SFC-regulated financial institution.
  • Strong knowledge of the CBF, SIAR, standard models, and credit provisioning regulations.
  • Advanced SQL and Python or R, with strong Excel skills; Power BI or Looker is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with rigorous documentation and clear communication, particularly when presenting to senior stakeholders and committees.

Our ways of working:

  • Innovative Spirit: A commitment to creativity and groundbreaking solutions.
  • Honest Feedback: valuing open, transparent communication.
  • Supportive Team: a strong, collaborative community.
  • Celebrating Achievements: recognizing our wins together.
  • High-Tech Environment: a team full of smart and revolutionary people who date to challenge the status quo of incumbent finances.
